Analysis of TVF Spotlight | Chosen Few - A Short Film

Recently I have watched a short film titled as Chosen Few on TVF aka The Viral Fever's youtube channel. TVF which is most famous for its Comedy Sketches and Web Series. The major part of TVFs' contents revolves around the LIGHT HUMOR genre.
But this time TVF tried to touch the ground of social issue.  This short film is little bit dark for the TVF's particular audience. But TVF took the risk of experimentation and get succeeded in it.

Now, let me get back towards the short, Chosen Few. It revolves around the topic of human trafficking and teen sex workers. The screenplay is good,  as it holds your attention from the start. Then, you feel like the scenes are transitioning is fast, because it doesn't let your mind to stay with a scene.
And, then in the climax, when you think that its not a happy ending, you misjudged, because justice has already been served. I don't want to say much about the short. Otherwise, I'll spill the beans of spoliers.

Super Deluxe: A Tamil Gem of 2019 [Movie Analysis]

Last night, I watched non-linear drama thriller Tamil movie Super Deluxe. Its just so entertaining and a message based simultaneously. The cast of movie such as Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Fahadh Faasil, Ramya Krishnan etc.
Vijay Sethupathi played the role of a person, who did the sex change operation after running away from his home. The little boy, Ashwanth Ashok Kumar, who played the character of Rasukutty, the child of Manikam aka Shilpa (Vijay Sethupathi).
Super Deluxe has done full justice with this genre. Unlike some other films which has some loose end in the name of this genre. From intro to climax, Super Deluxe holds the power to make viewers stick to their seats.

Overall, Thiagaranjan Kumararaja has done a great job with the soul of this movie. From dialogues to cinematic sequences, everything is perfect. Not even a single thing about this movie makes me look away from the screen. My favorite part of the movie is Rasukutty's special style to welcome his father.

Suhana Khan's Short Film: The Grey part of Blue

Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan, recently graduated from Ardingly College in London and is pursuing acting course in the United States of America.
A short film The Grey Part of Blue has been released on youtube, featuring Suhana Khan. The plot revolves around the two-day journey of a young couple as they confront the harsh reality of the real world. Suhaha Khan is playing the character of a girl who is very excited to take her boyfriend to meet her parents for the very first time. And, the boyfriend doesn't seem interested in the whole scenario.
Suhana Khan did well for character. But the real show stopper was the Robin Gonella, who played the boyfriend. Suhana's acting skills are raw in comparison of Robin Gonella's acting skills. He did full justice with his character.

Here is the short film:

The final trailer analysis of Joker

Warner Bros has released the final full trailer of Tod Phillips' Joker and its a gritty take on DC's iconic villian of the Batman Comic Series.
The trailer for Joaquin Phoenix's Joker depicts the legendary character in a more sympathetic light, the protagonist of the story instead of unhinged antagonist to Batman.

The final trailer of Joker has been released ahead of its Venice Film Festival premiere.
The Joaquin Phoenix's character is named as Arthur Fleck, who is struggling to find his place in Gotham city of 70s. An aspiring comedian, he soon finds himself gaining fame in an unlikely, sinister manner.
“We didn’t follow anything from the comic books, which people are gonna be mad about,” Phillips said to Empire. “We just wrote our own version of where a guy like Joker might come from. That’s what was interesting to me. We’re not even doing Joker, but the story of becoming Joker. It’s about this man.” Phoenix, who has avoided comic book films to date, explained that it was…

Mission Mangal Movie Review

Chronic cynics and inveterate snarkers would do themselves — and everyone else — a great big favor by steering clear of “Mission Mangal,” an entertaining and ingratiating feel-good movie about the 2013 launch of the Mangalyann space probe, an against-all-odds triumph of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). In the world according to director Jagan Shakti and his team of screenwriters, this epochal event — India’s first interplanetary excursion, and the first time any country succeeded at sending a satellite to Mars in its initial attempt — is a textbook example of jugaad, a Hindi expression often translated as efficacious improvisation with minimal resources. And there is more than a hint of “Hidden Figures” to the storytelling here, in that most of the improvisation is inspired by observations and experiences of women who sign on for the Mars Orbiter Mission, or “MOM” (yes, really).
Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan are first and second among equals in the ensemble cast, playing …

Funny Movie Analysis of Gully Boy : Apna Time Kab Ayega

Gully Boy, a movie based on Indian Rap Culture, according to the makers. But according to myself, this movie, Gully Boy, is just a xeroxed version of the Rap God, Eminem's 8 mile.

Fun Fact:
Zoya Akhtar went on a trip to Hollywood. And, There she saw screenplay of 8 Mile on the Roadside, so she took it. And, on coming back from the Hollywood, Rema Kagti torn the screenplay by mistake. When she realized her mistake, she fixed those torn pieces of 8 mile with a duct tape called bollywood.
No offence, its just for fun.
Conclusion The only important part of Alia Bhatt's character Safeena is to provide Ranveer Singh's character Muraad an Ipad, so he can create some rhymes on it. Other than that, Alia Bhatt character has nothing important in the movie script. I feel like Alia Bhatt heard about this movie. Then, she called Zoya Akhtar on phone and starts crying and rolling on floor and saying I WANT TO BE LEAD ACTRESS IN THIS MOVIE. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.
The main charm and charismatic cha…

Cinematic Analysis of TSP's Nawab Sahab aur Shauk

Just experienced the latest youtube video of The Screen Patti; Nawab Aur Shauk.
Shivankit and Chote Miyan are at its best as usual.

So after watching and analysis this video, it seems like this video is actually a tribute to Wes Anderson from the director of the video which is Nishant Sharma.

The cinematic style of video is inspired from the Wes Anderson's work. The background music, the story telling, the character in center of screen every thing.

It is not easy to find a good video in all aspects on YouTube. And, the Director Nishant Sharma, DOP Ashwin Kadamboor and Twitter Saurabh Dwivedi totally deserve a big round of applause for this beautiful work.

The Shining movie stair scene analysis [with Easter Egg]

The film 'The Shining' is one of the all time horror classic movies. The film shows that how good Stanley Kubrick was with his craft. He shows it with every scene as well as shot, even with the set design because the carpet design put the intriguing impression in the viewer head.

So, now lets talk about the infamous stair scene, why its so horrifying.  As i already said that Kubrick was the genius, he proved it in this scene. So, here Kubrick used two camera angle shots. High Angle ShotLow Angle ShotHigh Angle Shot

So he used high angle shot for Jack Nicholson.
Low Angle Shot

And, low angle shot for Shelley Duvall (Wendy).
And, in both these shots, the speed of camera movement was slightly different. When camera is on Wendy from low angle, the speed of camera movement matches the speed of horrified Wendy climbing stair backwards with striking bat in air. And, when camera is on Jack from high angle, the speed of camera movement matches the speed of Jack while climbing stair to scare t…
